Color Change Activity

Below are a few shots of an animal I call "Wagon Wheel" (tn9607cab) given to her by a friend of mine who thought she resembled a wagon wheel w/ such a thick stripe and thick perfectly spaced out crossbars.  She is something special.  I will breed her this winter (03) and should have some babies from her in the Fall of 04.  Can't wait for that.   Enjoy....

Pic 1 below was taken just a few weeks after birth.

 

 

Pic 2 below was taken at approx. 4 months of age. You can start to see the "Peach" colored scales starting to come in. 

 

 

Pic 3 below was taken at approx. 8 months of age. The "Peach" colored scales have turned a brighter white.
